- We are the Stroups...Josh(26) and Tonya(27) and we have been deliriously happily married for 8 years now. We have 2 great little boys, Eli(7) and Connor(5) and one more boy on the way (due July 7th, 2010). They are so great...a handful but so much fun! We have a Westie named Pyper...she is our only little girl! We are very excited about what God has done and is continuing to do in our lives! God is Good!

Eli's 6th Birthday!
Wow...I can't believe that he is 6. It seems like just yesterday when we were debating on whether or not to go BACK to the hospital after spending half the night before up there. He has always since day 1 been on the go. 1st baby and he came in 5 hours! He was holding his bottle at 4mths, crawling at 5mths, and well those of you who know him, you know he's been that way ever since. He is reading now. Yeah I know hard to believe! He is homeschooling and doing GREAT! We got him Guitar Hero III for his birthday. He has been wanting it for so long. He got a PS2 for Christmas and the 1st thing he wanted to know is if he could go buy it. Of course it broke his heart when we told him no b/c we already had it to give to him today. We are going to give it to him this evening when we get off work and then we will take him out to eat wherever he wants to go. He moved from the nursery at church to our group "CLICK" this past Sunday...I almost cried! I never believed anyone when I was younger when they talked about how fast I was growing up but now that I have my own children and I watch them growing up right before my eyes, it's unreal how fast time goes by. The years seem like months and months seem like weeks. Well anyway...he's a big boy now but he still got up this morning and crawled in my lap and let me sing to him and tell him Happy Birthday! He also told me that he would always be my baby!

AHHH! I can't believe he's six! Where has the time gone? I remember the first time I held him when Jeff and I came home on leave and he threw-up all over me, lol! At least he says he's still your baby....Jessica now stubbornly claims she is a big girl whenever I call her my baby and she's only two!! Tell Eli I said Happy Birthday!!!! Miss ya'll!
ReplyDeleteWell don't feel bad he only tells me that when he is being really sweet, really wants something, or is jealous of his brother. LOL!!! Yeah I remember that but don't feel bad if anyone held him very long then, they got puked on! LOL!!! Now all he cares about is superheros, basebaall, and video games! We are discussing having another one but we have some things to address first. The main thing being my health then there's the whole space issue. Anyway that is where we stand with that. We miss y'all too! Give Jess kisses for us! Hope to see you soon!
